Almost missed it because of road construction, but eventually found it. The description on this page is accurate. The water has a slight mineral taste and is cool but not ice cold. The trail was either eroded or overgrown and I couldn’t make it to the falls but I noticed someone piped it all the way down near the road. The bees seemed to like… Read more

Drank water here quite a few times. Water tastes good and but not like a mountain spring found at higher elevation. There is also water test results posted there so you can see exactly what’s in it so I believe it is safe. Overall a good local source full of minerals with owners who are nice enough to open it for public use!

This is a man-made spring that uses the power of a windmill to pump the natural mineral water to the surface. It’s right on the road, so very easy access.

This spring water tasted cold and fresh. It’s about 100 ft right after the bend. If you drive up to a closed gate you drove too far. You should see two pipes coming out of the hillside with water flowing. Good luck and enjoy!

Visited GNP and had to stop at this spring. It was easy to find right next to the Shepard Memorial Fountain. IMHO the coldest and best tasting spring water I’ve tasted! I envy the locals who can access this spring as I’m from California. There was also a sign warning that it wasn’t an “approved source.” I would rather drink this water than what… Read more
